Steven Moffat was interview by the BBC regarding fab-favourite Osgood, player by Ingrid Oliver. The UNIT scientist decided not to join the Doctor in the TARDIS at the end of the most recent episode, The Zygon Inversion. Steven was asked if Osgood will be back in Doctor Who:
"I love the character. I'd be very surprised if we didn't [get her back on the show], because I think she really works and I think Ingrid is great in the part(s)."
Recently, Steven revealed that it would be unlikely that Osgood would become the new companion. Instead, the production team are looking for a new character to "relaunch" Doctor Who - read more HERE.
