The BBC have revealed that actor
Peter Serafinowicz has joined the guest cast of an upcoming episode in
Doctor Who Series 9.
The actor, known for his roles in UK sitcom Spaced and the film Shaun of the Dead, will voice monster known as The Fisher King in Before The Flood - the second part of a story from Toby Whithouse (School Reunion).
Serafinowicz also provided the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
As
revealed last week,
Before The Flood takes place a few hundred years before the preceding episode, Under The Lake. It also features comedic actor
Paul Kaye as Prentis, a Tivolian like Gibbis from another Whithouse episode,
The God Complex (played by yet another comedic actor, David Walliams). Check out the synopsis below:
On a remote Army outpost, a fearsome alien warlord - the Fisher King - sets in motion a twisted plan to ensure his own survival. The ripples will be felt around the universe. Is this chain of events inevitable? And can the Doctor do the unthinkable?
