Australia Celebrates Doctor Who 50th


To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, the Australian television catch up service ABC iview will show a series of hand-picked classic serials from the archives – 47 episodes in total. The collection will feature every Doctor, from the first to the eighth, as well as the scariest monsters and the most beloved companions. The season airs thusly:

Saturday 28 September - An Unearthly Child and The Daleks.
Saturday 5 October - The Tomb of the Cybermen.
Saturday 12 October - Spearhead from Space and The Sea Devils.
Saturday 19 October The Sontaran Experiment and City of Death.
Saturday 26 October - Earthshock.
Saturday 2 November - The Two Doctors.
Saturday 9 November - Battlefield.
Saturday 16 November - Doctor Who: The Movie (1996).
