Moffat confirms Series 8

Steven Moffat, yesterday.
Current showrunner Steven Moffat talked to Digital Spy last night at the BAFTAs and revealed that the next series of Doctor Who is already being written, he said:

"... series eight is absolutely, definitely confirmed. It is real and it's happening - it's [taking up] most of my time at the moment."

Jenna-Louise Coleman has confirmed she also be taking part in the next series though Matt Smith's involvement still remains a mystery. The pair have already filmed the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special and start shooting on the 2013 Christmas Special in "August or September".

So do we think he might regenerate at the end of the 50th ? Leaving a new doctor for the Christmas special?
Maybe Clara and/or John Hurt is a Watcher?
