The BBC have released another preview of the Christmas Day edition of Doctor Who Confidential featuring blogger Charlie McDonnell. He's on the set of Doctor Who and gets to explore the TARDIS and have a sneak peak of Matt Smith and Katherine Jenkins filming for A Christmas Carol.

A Christmas Carol - Soundtrack details
As exclusively revealed on the Blogtor Who Twitter feed earlier today, Silva Screen has announced that February will see the release of the soundtrack to Doctor Who - A Christmas Carol, this year’s Christmas Special. The soundtrack features classical music superstar Katherine Jenkins - both part of the cast and singer on Abigail’s Song.
The music is composed by now Doctor Who composer of choice Murray Gold and performed by the excellent BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Crouch End Festival Chorus. The album will be released both physically and digitally.

Fourth Doctor Costume in "The Big Bang Theory"
The most recent episode of the US sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, featured one of its characters dressed as The Fourth Doctor. Wearing Tom Baker's iconic outfit in The Justice League Recombination was actor Kevin Sussman (who plays comic book store owner Stuart). In the past, the show has featured a Dalek in the background.

The Sun "Buzz" Magazine - Matt & Karen interview + DVD giveaway!
Buzz Magazine, free with The Sun on Saturday, has Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as the cover stars of the issue. In the magazine is the first ever joint interview with the pair and the magazine is also giving away a FREE Doctor Who DVD. It features The End of Time Part 1 & 2 and also The Eleventh Hour. Here's what Matt had to say on Karen and their friendship:“We’ll go to the supermarket every night, get a sandwich, and trot home to learn lines. Sometimes we’ll phone each other and say: ‘How’s it going? Really badly? Me too. Do you want to come over and practise?”
So spending 12 hours a day, 11 days a fortnight, 9 months of the year hasn’t driven them apart then?“I’m terribly fond of Karen - we’re good pals. I’ve learnt how to make her laugh during filming. I can say a word in a silly voice, and she’ll go. Karen can do it to me to. It’s that old Smith-Gillan banter - it’s become quite famous on set.” Karen agrees: “We have such a laugh, except when he does his ‘moth thing’ because I am scared of moths.”

BBC Worldwide announced today that its Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time App is available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and will be available on Google Android in 2011. The action puzzle adventure game features the Doctor and his companion Amy Pond travelling through time and space to defeat infamous enemies, solve devious puzzles and restore peace. It’s the deepest part of winter, the exact midpoint, Christmas Eve - half way out of the dark. Amy and Rory are trapped on a stricken space liner that’s plummeting through banks of thick icy fog to the surface of the planet below. Only one man has the power to save them; only one man is in possession of a machine that can clear the fog and let them land safely. That man is Kazran Sardick, a rich but lonely old miser who rules Sardicktown with a sky-mast of iron.
The Doctor’s only chance of rescuing the ship’s four thousand passengers is to save Kazran’s soul and show him that life is worth living. For this he needs to go back, way back, to when Kazran was a boy with a life full of promise. But can the Doctor put a song in Kazran’s heart and love in his life, in time for Christmas? Can he bring him out of the dark?
